Grounded migrants at the south end included 8 Robins, 2 Song Thrushes, 100 Meadow Pipits, 2 Whinchats, 2 Chiffchaffs, 2 Common Whitethroats and singles of Pied Flycatcher, Garden Warbler, Willow Warbler, Reed Warbler, Blackcap and Goldcrest. Also on the landside were 19 Pink-footed Geese, 35 Canada Geese, one Marsh Harrier, 215 Swallows (mostly south), one Water Rail and a solitary Whimbrel amongst a flock of 70 Curlews. 43 Lapwings passed very high to the NW while 10 Brent Geese, 27 Shelducks, 8 Gannets and 2 Red-throated Divers flew north at sea.

There were single Redstarts at Pyes Hall and Saltfleet today but not much else.
