A fine dark juvenile Honey Buzzard was mobbed by crows at the south end at 0950, then after landing briefly on an elder, it departed low to the SW inland. Shortly afterwards, at 1005, a Common Buzzard and 2 Marsh Harriers thermalled together over the fields and also drifted SW, then another Marsh Harrier passed to the south at 1200. Other birds of note included 38 Pink-footed Geese, one Grey Wagtail, one Wheatear, 2 Goldcrests, one Siskin, 13 Swallows and one Arctic Skua.

All I can add to that is a ring tail hen harrier at the northern end of the realignment. Unfortunately I was at the southern end with a camera in my hand and in splendid light too. Two chiffchaff at Pyes, one pink-foot flying north-west. 38 brent geese out on the salt marsh and another 50 heading south coming from the direction of the Humber
