A male Ring Ouzel was briefly on a freshly tilled field early this morning, it then flew up on to adjacent hedge, then on to bank of Catchwater drain before flying back into hedge and then flying strongly west. This is my first in 33 years of watching this patch.
Also:-
1 Wheatear on same field.
1 Chiffchaff in Catchwater copse.
1 Redwing in cow field hedge, 1st of autumn.
