Approx 50 Brent geese on saltmarsh at lunchtime, but no sign of them on return visit at 3pm. However, there was a wheatear on the beach. Further along the coastal nature reserve, there was one willow/chiff plus loads of starlings feasting on blackberries and a few robins and three bullfinches. I had hoped the red-flanked bluetail seen yesterday at Spurn might have flown over the estuary. No luck with that. |
