After a good few hours slogging around the coastal bushes between Chapel Six and Anderby which produced little, a large flock of geese appeared in flight to the west of Anderby marsh the first few of which were seen to be White fronted. They turned and headed inland and although lost to view behind the sea bank they appeared to land. Driving south from Anderby the flock were located in an inland stubble field but at some distance. It comprised of 14 White fronted Geese and 150 Pink footed Geese. As well as being distant the whole flock was very wary perhaps not helped by the presence of a Peregrine in the area. For completeness my log from this coastal section included.....
