Best of day was 3 brambling, 1 firecrest, 1 yellow browed, 1 merlin, 2 fieldfare , 2 swallow. several hundreds of blackbirds ,song thrush, redwing, goldcrest, robin ,also chaffinches, reed bunting ,tree sparrow Many less birds on first sight this dawn after a fairly clear night, 2 skeins of pink foot over c 140 and 68 in NNE f 4, with lots of dark cloud and showers over the sea. regards John |
