Highlights at the south end were 2 Shore Larks, 2 Hen Harriers, one Marsh Harrier and 2 Bean Geese. Brief views of a male Redstart before a Sparrowhawk passed over were insufficient to determine the species as Common or Eastern Black. As the latter was recorded at Spurn yesterday, this makes an extremely frustrating sighting. A thorough search and wait failed to produce any results. |
