A good selection of birds at RSPB Tetney Marshes today:

4 Whooper Swan
120 Pink-footed Geese south
1 Long-tailed Duck
5 Scaup
8 Goldeneye
250 Common Scoter
2 Red-crested Pochard - a pair out in the Humber mouth was an unusual sight
1 Hen Harrier - ringtail
1 Marsh Harrier - a male in off
1 Peregrine
1 Merlin
3 Short-eared Owl
1 Barn Owl
1 Woodcock
1 Common Sandpiper
1 Waxwing - by the lock gates and then flew south
2 Kingfisher
1 Grey Wagtail
1 Stonechat
1 Brambling
2 Twite
