There was a report on RBA of a Purple Sandpiper at 1130 and it was still showing well this afternoon in the SE corner. Also seen were 6 Goldeneye and thousands of Common Gulls and Black-headed Gulls flying in right up to dusk, I only noted 1 large gull, a LBB.

Purple sandpiper still present this morning - at south end. Looked good with sunlight on its back.

Not much else about - no sign of the Slavonian grebe reported earlier in the week.
