Post subject:  Witham Mouth

Had a walk to river mouth with the dog. She was certainly going quicker than I was by the time we got back to the car
One advantage of taking her was that she managed to flush a couple of short-eared owls out of the bushes shortly after we started back from Cut End. Little else of note there other than a Twite 1 close to river mouth
On Frampton itself were
Whooper Swan 5 as we arrived by the bottom car-park
Glossy Ibis briefly from the sea-bank at top of the steps by the bottom car-park
Merlin over saltmarsh
Marsh Harrier over saltmarsh - looked as though it had come from Freiston direction
Hen Harrier (male) from the top of the steps
Greenfinch c150 in the bushes at the start of the track on the way to the river mouth
