Nige,
That's an interesting and comprehensive list of birds seen at Gib Pt.
However, I do have one request : is it possible for you (and others) to add a space between numbers and directions S and N (particularly S) ?

A less than leisurely scan could otherwise read, if only initially :

Red-breasted Merganser 35
Red-breasted Merganser 3 S

Waxwing 15
Waxwing 1 S

Brent Geese 145
Brent Geese 14 S

The 5 and S are more difficult to differentiate accurately in you post than in my examples.

For those of us over 60 without 20/20 vision, ( although I HAVE been to SpecSavers/ 5pec5avers), the gap would be of help.

Thanks.

Regards

Freddy
