Hi Chris,

For an unmanaged area it's currently producing a good selection of species, of course topped off with the star harrier hunting over it.
The mixture of saltmarsh, beach and the Humber mouth help to create a decent day list.

Not an area I know at all though I do recall visiting it for dotterel and tawny pipit a few yeas ago. Really haven't a clue about how to get on to the beach

It's a reserve where do you have to work hard for a good list of species and cover a considerable distance. You can access the beach by walking N below the seabank and along the saltmarsh edge from Horseshoe Point - it is a long walk though.

regards

Chris
