Post subject:  Swanpool/Boultham mere 12/11.
A dull wet morning on the patch.

Wildfowl on the mere were:-
7 Mute Swans,
1 Greylag Goose,
27 Mallard,
72 Gadwall,
2 Pintail,
18 Shoveler,
3 Wigeon,
86 Teal (dropped in at about 09:30),
7 Tufted Duck
& 11 Cormorants.

A Woodcock, flushed from under a hedge, was the first of the winter on the patch.
