Hi Steve,

I can imagine that the sight of that many geese was impressive! The pastures to the east of Dawson City seem to be popular with Pink-footed Geese. I have also noted large numbers of Curlew feeding in these fields.

Regards

Jon

Hi Jon,

Superb area for Curlew and when i birded the area regularly in the late 80's it was excellent for Whimbrel in spring also.I will be covering the area on a more regular basis now,so will keep you posted on anything of interest.

Regards,

Steve.
