Post subject:  1st winter Iceland Gull at Many Flashes.

Further to Geof Williams report of 1st winter Iceland Gull at Manby Flashes this morning - presumably the same bird returned at 3.40pm. It bathed briefly before flying off north with many other gulls. I was with Richard Jackson.

Presumed the same bird was again at Manby Flashes this afternoon between 2.45pm and 3.02 pm.

The Iceland Gull flew in about 14:45pm and bathed for some time and flew off again at 14:59pm after a Sparrowhawk flushed all the gulls present.

Also present:
Stonechat x 2
Grey Wagtail x 1
Snipe x 6
Common Buzzard x 5
Kestrel x 1
Whooper Swan x11 ( 3 juv)
