Post subject:  REPORTED: Velvet Scoter at Cleethorpes Saturday 26th

Reported by Chris Bell....

Visited Cleethorpes Saturday the 26th ,where unfortunately the tide brought in the mist spoiling what might have been an interesting hide tide , however with all the bits and pieces that had been observed before it had ,already been a very good day.

Best was probably the 4 Velvet Scoter (3 female) just yards offshore about here (https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/53% ... 0067?hl=en) just after mid-day, that had been preceded by 19 Snow Bunting on the outer bar here (https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/53% ... 5469?hl=en) observed from 11:15 until just before 12, and I am not mentioning one of my favorite species the 3 Grey Plover that were at the inner end of the bar.
