Long time since I've been out. Friends asked if I'd like to go with them to see the seals at Donna Nook, so I said yes please.

Not driving I was able to see more than usual on way there and back. On M180 spotted a Kestrel, on the A1031 spotted two Grey Heron and eight Mutes, five Mallard and one Grey Heron on the B1201.

At D Nook had four Brent's over, although I didn't spot a raptor the waders etc were getting up most of the time. Had a single Curlew, single Redshank, a Crow, Magpie, c100 Starling, c200 Lapwing, assorted gulls - 12, three Pied Wag, a couple of W Pigeon, eighteen Turnstone, one Shore Lark, one Grey Heron, small flock of Twite and loads of seals and even more people.

Really enjoyed getting out and visiting the coast, did me the world of good!

Noticed on the sightings board some cracking sightings including RLB.

Kind regards

Max :D :D
