A Cetti's Warbler was in the reeds just left of the hide this morning. It was heard to call very briefly twice and then about 10 minutes later it appeared on the edge of the reeds for about 30 seconds before moving back into the reeds.
This is the 7th record for the patch, all in the last 8years.

This bird was my 130th species for the patch this year, beating my previous best of 128 in 2008.

The Cetti's Warbler was heard calling and seen well this morning, again in the reeds just left of the hide. There had been no sign of it between 1st and today.
