Post subject: East Halton Skitter to Goxhill Haven 11th December 2016

A walk along the Humber bank between East Halton Skitter and Goxhill Haven this morning found 36 species present. Of note were:

Black Tailed Godwit 7
Curlew 133
Dunlin 20
Fieldfare 50
Kestrel 1
Lapwing 611
Little Egret 2
Marsh Harrier 2
Pink-footed Goose 2500 feeding in harvested Sugar Beet field adjacent to abandoned fishing pond. An impressive sight and sound.
Redshank 19
Redwing 10
Reed Bunting 4
Snipe 6
Sparrowhawk 1
Turnstone 31
Twite 2
Wigeon 102

All in Bird Track.
