Waders of note between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall included 2,700 Knot, 1,100 Dunlin, 350 Sanderling, 230 Grey Plovers, 100 Redshanks and 23 Turnstones. Four Whooper Swans came in off the sea and continued SW inland. Other highlights were restricted to 30 Rock Pipits, 70 Twite and the male Hen Harrier in the cold, blustery conditions. With GPC. |
