Found GGS at Northern end of High Bank 75metres west of green footbridge. Viewed from passing place just west of bridge. Look across river to area of sluice. GGS on bare bushes on rough ground behind far bank.

Still present this afternoon to 2.30 at least. Walk across the green footbridge to view the rough ground behind the sluice. Great White Egret about 1km upstream, hunkered down on the far bank . The Long Tailed Duck was showing well with the Tufted flock about 500m upstream of Crowland Bridge.

Great Grey Shrike still showing well this morning (4/2) at same location. Appears to be a first-winter bird. Also present 2 Stonechat with a further bird along Cradge Bank. Redhead Goosander on river here.

No sign of Great White Egret but the Long tailed Duck was also still present upstream of Crowland Water Tower plus a fem Scaup.
