There was a good selection of geese on the fields at the south end, hence 1,100 dark-bellied Brent Geese, 2 pale-bellied Brent Geese, one Black Brant, 10 White-fronted Geese and one Tundra Bean Goose, plus 6 Whooper Swans. At least 12 Shore Larks and 40 Twite were on the beach and a Great Crested Grebe flew south at sea. |
