I wonder if the attraction is the generously fruiting berry tree at the bottom of the cul-de sac Ladds Mill Close off Hebden Moor Way? Otherwise nothing to report in the "area" 0930-1030 today(Thursday).

Meanwhile, in BBH, my garden Sentinel Crab Apple tree with its hundreds of attractive glistening fruit remains waiting for special visitors. Blackbirds and Thrushes find it almost impossible to master the twist and pull actions necessary to detach the fruit. It was no problem for Waxwings when they visited a couple of times during the 2010/11 irruption. Hopefully, a wandering group will arrive sooner or later?

At least two single figure parties ranging widely visiting private gardens around the mill moor estate and adjacent new estate today. Whilst waiting for a group of six to emerge from a garden 15 flew over strongly west.

Ben
