Shore Larks at the south end had decreased to 10. Similarly, Lapland Buntings had diminished to just one on the beach and 3 on an adjacent field of stubble. Also noted were 80 Twite, 2 Stonechats and 6 Whooper Swans. A dead Shag with a BTO ring and blue colour ring LPB was found on the high tide-line. Ca. 550 Pink-footed Geese flew north. With GPC and Dave Hursthouse. |

later count of the Twite flock amassed 102 Steve; there were also 7 Shorelarks several 100m further north but whether they were part of the 10 we could not confirm; |
