Realignment area Glaucous gull imm. Over car park area twice at 10.45 and 12.20. Stonechat 1m Rock pipit 2 Dunlin 5 Brent Goose 220 Golden plover 60 Redshank 90 Teal 200+ Shoveler 8 Southern end area Twite 64 (in 1 flock) Shore lark 13+ (very difficult viewing in wind and rain plus distance involved) Lapland bunting 3 (very confiding along strandline) (plus over 400 grey seals hauled out on distant sand banks) |

There was some light passage over the sea at the south end and included 2 Great Northern Divers, one Red-throated Diver and a Long-tailed Duck to the north. My first Ringed Plover of the year was on the mudflats and the 6 Whooper Swans were still on the fields. |
