Trent Port area, Marton 5th Feb 2017 09.15-10.45 Curlew 8 South @ 10.14 and 1 North @ 10.25 Cetti's warbler 1 in song Wigeon 65 Teal 8 Greylag goose 82 Canada goose 11 Snipe 19 Lapwing 100 Golden plover 280 (circling over area, and landing on Notts side of Trent) Fieldfare 300 (feeding in pasture fields) Buzzard 2 Sparrowhawk 1 Tree sparrow 2 Bullfinch 3 Yellowhammer 8 Green woodpecker 1 Great spotted woodpecker 2 (plus 3 brown hares) |
