They may still be common enough in what's left of the Lincolnshire countryside, but this is the first time i've come across one so close to home. it was in full song in the buckthorn scrub along Cleethorpes foreshore at around 7.30 am today - a mere couple of hundred yards or so beyond the leisure Centre. :D
