Twyford Wood yesterday (15 April) - had 40 singing willow warblers. A record count for me there - have had previous totals of 33 birds in 2011 and 34 in 2014. And didn't cover every suitable part of the wood so potentially more. Also 14 singing chiffchaff, a single grasshopper warbler, single swallow and, oddly, only 1 blackcap.

Morkery today - 17 singing chiffchaff, 5 willow warbler and 5 blackcap

All on Birdtrack
