Two Sandwich Terns heading north at sea and a singing Cuckoo were the first for the year at the south end. The Cetti's Warbler was still present and other highlights were 5 Common Whitethroats, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, 2 Blackcaps, 6 Willow Warblers, 3 Chiffchaffs, one Sedge Warbler, one Goldcrest, 3 Swallows and a Marsh Harrier. Two Corn Buntings were singing on the fields and 27 Carrion Crows flew high to the north.
