Birds on the realignment area included 34 Fieldfares which eventually departed to the NW, a Yellow Wagtail and the first Greenshank. Also of note were 5 Blackcaps, 2 Willow Warblers, a Common Whitethroat, 6 Swallows and 2 singing Corn Buntings.

The greenshank was there yesterday two-thirds of the way down towards the sluice gates at Pyes Hall, Steve
