Main birds of note at the south end were 2 Cuckoos, 12 Wheatears, 16 Common Whitethroats, one Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Blackcaps, 6 Willow Warblers, 3 Chiffchaffs, 2 Reed Warblers and 4 Whimbrel. Birds moving south over the dunes included 7 Swallows, 4 Sand Martins, one House Martin, 5 Kestrels and 3 Common Buzzards. 10 Common Scoters flew south at sea. |
