The Caspian Gull continues to be inaccessible by occupying private land well away from the sea-bank. Not much seen on the dunes in the strengthening cold north-easterly, the best being 2 singing Garden Warblers. Amongst the selection of waders on the shore were 5 Whimbrel, a Greenshank and a resplendent summer-plumaged Curlew Sandpiper.
