After the odd swift knocking around for the last week or so we had an arrival of 'many' noticed last night. Today I made a guesstimate of 70 birds over Far Ings NNR pits. A really good opportunity to get amongst them as they shoot along sheltered paths and near head height.

Thurlby main pit about 12.30pm there were loads of Swifts, perhaps between 100 and 200.
