I had a photographic course at Whisby on Sunday morning (7th May) but nipped around to Teal Lake beforehand. The drake garganey was still on show plus there was a large movement of swifts underway with 400-500 plus smaller numbers of hirundines. During the walk from the visitor centre to Teal Lake I must have noted at least 12 garden warblers in song plus two lesser whitethroats. Two nightingales were in full song near to the railway bridge whilst being shown the importance of ISO numbers, aperture width, etc.

Cheers
Brian
