Nige Lound counted warblers etc from south end of NNR at Mablethorpe to Brickyard Lane 09 05 17
I have counted from BL to Rimac today the 10th and added the totals up to the following

Whitethroat 79 , Lesser Whitethroat 16 , Willow Warbler 33 ,Chiffchaff 15, Blackcap 24, Cuckoo 5,
Sedge warbler 14, Grasshopper Warbler 3, Reed Warbler 3, Garden Warbler 2, Wood Warbler 1.
Turtle Dove 9,

Also Tree Pipit 2, Swallow c 70, Swift 8, House martin 8 , Hobby 1,

The great majority of warblers were noted by song.
A wood warbler gave brief song in the Churchill Lane area on 5 th ( JW ) and another or the same in the Crook Bank area on 9 th ( NL)
