A walk from the Car Dyke bridge to French's Farm yesterday evening;- Singing males 1 Lesser Whitethroat 5 Whitethroat -at least two families with fledged young 1 Blackcap 3 Sedge warblers 1 Chiffcaff 1 Turtle Dove 8 Reed Buntings singing 3 Yellowhammers 1 Meadow Pipit Sightings; 6 adult and 2 juvenile fledged Kestrels 2 Lapwings 2 Tree Sparrows Also 1 fox, 16 hares , 1 dead Common Shrew and numerous rabbits.
