This evening , there was a stricken mute swan (possibly with a broken left wing) in the dyke that runs alongside the bank between Humberston Fitties and Tetney Lock. Sadly, I think the end was close. |

The bird was dead this morning. Probably for the best but here's hoping it had died before the predators got to work. |
