An hour's seawatch at the south end this morning produced 40 Cormorants and 2 Gannets north, while heading south were 6 different Gannets, 17 Sandwich Terns, 5 Common Terns, 2 Little Gulls, 3 Arctic Skuas and ca.30 Common Scoters. Onshore were 69 Curlews, 18 Whimbrel, 2 Sanderling and a Peregrine. Along the flashes were 5 Common Sandpipers, 18 Teal, 2 Wigeon and a Marsh Harrier. |
