This morning at Chamber's farm wood
About 200 yards before the fiveway footpath junction
2 spotted flycatchers 40 yards off the path. Not very cooperative, giving a few brief views only.
Cheers. Rick and Pam

On a visit to Gunby Hall today, there were a number of Spotted Flycatchers; at least one in the cherry trees on the lawn in front of the house, and what appeared to be several families in the trees in parkland between the church and the Ice House Pond, often on bare branches and dead trees. Apparently there are nesting boxes to encourage breeding around the area.

This morning there were two in the clump of elders in the middle of the dry heath at Linwood Warren. A Nuthatch was calling from the Scots Pines adjacent to the main gate.
