An evening walk down the fen as far as the Car Dyke produced at least 2 Whitethroats, 3 Blackcaps, 4 Chiffchaffs, 1 Yellow Wagtail and the star of the show a Whinchat.
Dunsby STW at 0700 this morning was alive with warblers; mainly Chiffchaffs and Willow warblers and helpfully some of both singing. Also Blackcaps, a Yellow Wagtail and at least 6 Bullfinches.
