A seawatch at the south end 0940-1115 after the high tide period saw northerly movement of 71 Gannets, 70 Sandwich Terns, 22 Common Terns, one Black Tern, one Great Skua and 2 Arctic Skuas. 35 Sandwich Terns and 4 Common Scoters also flew south. Arriving in from the sea before mostly turning to the south or SW were 76 Meadow Pipits, 20 Linnets, 91 Swallows, 60 House Martins, 5 Sand Martins and a Swift. Of note on the landward side were 6 Common Buzzards, a Marsh Harrier, a Great Spotted Woodpecker and a Tree Pipit.
