At the south end, working its way south from bush to bush was a party of 4 Goldcrests, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers, one Willow Warbler, 8 Long-tailed Tits, 2 Great Tits and 8 Blue Tits. Another Yellow-browed Warbler was calling near the old coastguard cottages. Also of note were 5 Sparrowhawks which flew south during the morning and singles of Marsh Harrier, Common Whitethroat, Blackcap, Stonechat and Whinchat. On the shore were 3 Curlew Sandpipers and 3 Little Stints.
