Post subject:  Manx Shearwater

Yesterday morning I had a quick look over from the prom at Sutton-on-sea. I picked up a bird on the water 60-70 yds out,
pleased to see a Manx Shearwater. Not having a close up shot of a Manx I went to fetch my camera, upon return the bird had drifted to far out for a decent photo.
Three hours or so later on way back from Chapel having treated my good lady to fish and chips, I decided to have a look over the top from Wolla bank. Spotting a Great Black Backed stabbing at a lifeless bird down near the tide line, I went to investigate. Sad
to see it was a Manx.
I took a photo with my phone, but certainly not the type of close up I wanted. [ I will upload to photo album ]
