107 Lapwings moved NW over the south end, otherwise all visible passage was to the south along the dunes with 280 Linnets (plus another 300 on the fields), 360 Starlings, 70 Meadow Pipits, one Rock Pipit, 25 Skylarks, 42 Goldfinches, 6 Chaffinches, 3 Siskins, 15 Greenfinches, 5 Redpolls, one Grey Wagtail, 15 Swallows, 7 House Martins, one Marsh Harrier, 11 Ruffs and 38 Pink-footed Geese. A Kestrel came in from the sea and continued south along the tide-line. Fewer migrants were seen on the dunes, the best being 2 Yellow-browed Warblers and a Spotted Flycatcher. An adult Yellow-legged Gull was onshore and 25 Wigeon, 3 Gannets and 3 Red-throated Divers headed north at sea. |
