Post subject:  Donna Nook, 4th October.

Barry Clarkson informed me of an elusive Marsh Warbler sub-singing and calling for a short period this morning between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall.

At the south end 40 Pink-footed Geese flew NW and 185 headed south. Three Whooper Swans also went south. Other birds of note were 3 Stonechats, a Lapland Bunting, 10 Ruffs and a Little Stint. The Yellow-browed Warbler was still in my garden.
