While looking at my feeders on Monday afternoon in the hope of another lesser redpoll a bird flew over and landed on the neighbours garage roof for all of 15 seconds. It turned out to be a grey wagtail. Not exactly fertile territory for the bird but a welcome addition to the garden list. Especially as I am not sure I have even had a pied wagtail in the garden before. The lesser redpoll duly turned up shortly after the wagtail left
