Wildfowl heading south were 13 Whooper Swans, 230 Pink-footed Geese, 20 Brent Geese and 15 Common Scoters. Four more Whooper Swans were on the flashes, while other highlights at the south end included 3 Sparrowhawks south, a Merlin, 5 Common Buzzards, a Spotted Redshank, a Brambling, a Lapland Bunting and 100 Stock Doves. Three Grey Partridges were the first seen since April.
