I was at a dune ridge top car park Mablethorpe 0710 to 0830
noted heavy passage of auks north only counted the closer birds c 50% ?
48 guillemots 5 razorbills 4 little auks and a superb black guillemot showing well in a sunny spell 2 probable puffins
also saw male LT duck south 56 scoters including 2 velvets , 3 goldeneye 3 RTdivers 4 skua sp 1 positive pom
others too distant c 30 kittiwakes , did not count gannets as north and south movement.
and lots of distant auks etc , but used only 35 x 80 scope and concentrated of birds within 2 kms
The black guillemot is the first iv,e seen in England !. ( all black with shining white wing panels Roy )

regards John
