Trent Port area 2.35pm
At least 500 swifts noted at height heading SE rapidly in front of thunderstorm.
Also in area:
Hobby 1
Buzzard 1 south
Shoveler 8 juvs
Pochard 2 f + 1m
Shelduck 1f + 2 juvs
Kingfisher 2
Common Tern 1
Masses of young tits and warblers in riverside vegetation (mainly long-tailed tits, willow warblers, chiffchaffs with a few blackcaps, lesser whitethroats and whitethroats)
