Had a visit to Jobs Lane and the Whisby Silt Lagoons
Jobs Lane
Greenshank 2
Green Sandpiper 1
Oystercatcher 1
Lapwing c30
Teal 2
Ringed Plover 2
Kestrel

Silt Lagoons
Plenty of Sand Martins including one which was ALL WHITE. I certainly have never seen anything like it and wonder if others have? It was being constantly hasseled by the other sand martins
3 Oystercatcher - one dropped in from Jobs Lane
1 Peregrine
1 Cormorant

Post subject:  Sand Martins

Hi Chris,
I once saw a leucistic Sand Martin at Barton Pits, with normal upper and underparts, but white wings, very un-usual,and the other Sand Martins in the flock where chasing it and mobbing it.

Regards,

Steve.
